Shrink Sleeve Applicators
Highly flexible shrink sleeve applicator.
1. The products are separated using a timing screw.
2. A micro-perforation is set in-between each and other sleeve.
3. The sleeve is opened using a mandrel, the horizontal perforation breaks when the sleeve is shot onto the container while it is moving on the conveyor.
Advantages: low tooling cost, the mandrel has the foot print of your container (better orientation, easier shrinkage)

The R -400 is the fastest amongst PDC’s single head machine.
Using our R technology, it works with a continuous perforating system
which does not stop the tubing; the perforation is made in-between
each sleeve.
A R-400 never stops the sleeve, no snapping, no time lost! It will easily ramp smoothly up to 36 000 bottles/hour!
Compatible with thin sleeves, it includes a unique feature: the mandrel has the foot print of your container.
This applicator combines high speed, smooth process and optimized orientation.

The applicator shapes & guides the sleeve very closely onto the product
and provides a perfect orientation.
The sleeve is pushed onto the product and released only once it has reached its final position.
