The PDC Europe Story
PDC was founded by our current CEO’s father, but it’s never been a one-man show.
In 1982, Jean-Claude Vandevoorde was on a work trip to the USA, where he discovered packaging sleeves with a 360° visual impact that hadn’t yet arrived in Europe. Inspired, he returned to France & together with his Scottish wife they built the team that made PDC Europe the leading sleeve applicator manufacturer that it is today.
Now that Derek Vandevoorde is leading the company, he’s continuing to forge the international approach that has been part of the company since its very beginning. Always keen to hear from others, raise them up and give them a chance, Derek Vandevoorde has continued to improve on his father’s legacy to make PDC Europe the company it is today.
